Instructional Information:

Surf Road's surfing lessons are divided into levels 1 to 6, catering to individual skill levels. Levels 1-2 are for beginners, levels 3-4 for intermediate surfers, and levels 5-6 for advanced surfers.

Level 1:

This course is designed for surfing beginners, focusing on the enjoyment of surfing while establishing a solid foundation in safety rules and basic surfing theory.

Educational Objectives:

• Mastering the correct posture to stand up on the board and ride straight towards the shore

Theory Education:

• Safety rules and basic surfing theory

Ground Education:

• Equipment explanation and practice of standing up on the board

Surfing:

• Standing up and correcting posture in white wash (broken waves)

Level 2:

This stage aims to strengthen the fundamental skills of beginners.

Educational Objectives:

• Mastering the posture of standing up on the board and paddling

Ground Education:

• Practicing quick standing up on the board and learning proper paddling technique

Surfing:

• Paddling and taking off on a wave

Level 3:

After solidifying the basics of surfing, this stage focuses on practicing proper riding techniques.

Educational Objectives:

• Side riding

Ground Education:

• Education on side riding take-off posture

Surfing:

• Left and right side riding

Level 4:

This stage teaches how to catch waves in the lineup where waves start to form.

Educational Objectives:

• Catching waves in the lineup and performing take-offs

Ground Education:

• Lineup techniques

Surfing:

• Board turning, Eskimo roll, lineup wave take-offs

Level 5:

In this stage, surfers learn to ride the face of the wave using the rail of the board and master the crucial skill of visual awareness in surfing.

Educational Objectives:

• Mastering fast side riding

Ground Education:

• Fast side riding posture, visual awareness education

Surfing:

• Catching waves and riding with the rail while entering the wave

Level 6:

This stage focuses on accurately reading waves and gradually mastering advanced surfing techniques.

Educational Objectives:

• Accurately reading waves, up and down riding, basic turns

Ground Education:

• Learning how to read and follow waves, riding techniques

Surfing:

• Attempting side riding with up and down movements, turns

Lesson Booking and Reservation:

Reservations can be made through the internet, phone, or KakaoTalk. Full payment is required to complete the reservation. (Customers who prefer on-site payment should inquire in advance.)

Additional lessons can be arranged by paying the price difference.

For group lessons with 3 or more participants, please contact us by phone.

Customers who have never received a surfing lesson are not allowed to rent surfboards.

Refund Policy:

No refunds are available for cancellations or no-shows on the day of the lesson.

Full refunds are possible for cancellations made 1 day (24 hours) before the reservation date.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the lesson start time will incur a refund fee of 50%.

No refunds are available for cancellations on the day of the lesson.

In the event of storm warnings or typhoon alerts, lessons may be postponed, and refund requests can be accommodated.

Refunds are not available for package deals or equipment storage usage.
